Yankee Boy Basin.

Funfact: today I went four wheeling to an elevation of over 11,300 feet. Beat that. {no, just kidding, I live in a state with a couple dozen mountains over 14,000 feet so it's pretty easy to beat, but still} Yankee Boy is easily my favorite ATV ride that my family takes. The road is pretty easy and it takes you to these gorgeous waterfalls!

Let's be honest here, I would pick mountains over a beach any day and that's probably because of places like this ^^

Guess who's really thankful to live in such a pretty place and have such awesome parents? {hint: me}

{p.s. only 81 more days until I'll be blogging all about LONDON!}

bike riding in ridgway.

Last weekend Lori, my mom, and I took the prettiest bike ride from Ridgway reservoir into town. It was so fun getting to see another beautiful part of Colorado in a way I have never seen it before! {Seriously though, before last weekend, my bike probably had a total of about 20 miles on it. I never rode it... sorry to my parents for making them haul it out to college for me to never ride it...}

Ahh, Colorado.

I've changed my URL!

Surprise! I've changed my URL, because frankly, I couldn't handle seeing "sincerely" one more time. No one should let a 16 year old decide her own blog url, really. Also, because I'm entirely uncreative, I've changed my URL to good ol' {and yes, I would have preferred but it's taken by someone. who has never used it. I'm not bitter, don't worry}

zach's homecoming//ouray & black canyon.

wow, am I behind in blogging! As I wrote in this post, Zach is home! That means that a couple weekends ago a lot of the family came into town for his homecoming talk. We got to take them to Ouray and the Black Canyon... {get ready for an excessive amount of photos}

Black Canyon:

they told me to take a picture of her with the lizard. she was not amused.

sometimes my afternoon runs are marvelous ^

I was driving home from the store and, you know, saw this beautiful view. not the best picture, but y'all can deal.
Colorado is beautiful, right?
